Our signature cottage for famillies, Williamwood Cottage has been completely renovated and decorated in a style you would expect to find in a country cottage. Conventional yet modern but most of all comfortable.
The cosy sitting room is the heart of this enchanting holiday cottage, it features a delightful wood burning stove with ample firewood to keep you warm on the coldest of evenings here in the countryside. Central heating keeps the rest of the home warm.
Williamwood Cottage’s kitchen is fitted with high quality appliances extra fringe and freezer and modern conveniences, such as a microwave and dishwasher, bringing the best of modern living to the characteristically country home.
With three inviting bedrooms, each with their own individual style Williamwood cottage offers enough room for the whole family. The charming master bedroom has an en suite bathroom, while a family bathroom with large rain head shower and bath caters to the other occupants of the cottage.
Large windows offer sweeping views across the lush farmland fields from this charming cottage, situated in an a secluded mature garden with beautiful old trees, lawns and flower borders. A charming BBQ hut built in the style of an old shepherds hut, wooden floor and curved roof, enclosed on two sides. The BBQ is situated in the centre of the hut where you can cook and eat el fresco, sitting round a lovely BBQ watching the dark skies and listening to the complete silence of Williamwood.
Staying in Williamwood Cottage not only gives you exclusive access to the BBQ hut it also has a private 1 acre woodland area to explore and enjoy, where you can let your dog run freely. Otters, foxes, roe deer red squirrels and buzzards are regular visitors to the wood – a photographers paradise and if you don’t want to sit outside watching you can watch on TV the live stream from the remote camera.
Entry to the Williamwood is any time after 5 and key collection is pre-arranged.
