Welcome to Williamwood, one of the best kept secrets in Dumfries & Galloway.
On arrival probably the first thing you’ll notice is the long drive in and the magnificent hedges on either side. Next, you may notice the exceptional numbers of birds which fly out of them. Welcome – you’ve arrived at Williamwood, where farming and nature go hand-in-hand and provide a wonderfully expansive setting for your stay.
Our two cottages are unique and very different. Both have a common theme, comfort and tranquility. Beckhead is a nature paradise, and Greycraig a couples retreat with hot tub and lovely garden. We work hard to keep our cottages to a high standard and to foster an environment which allows you to relax in comfort; and to explore the wonders of nature, if you wish, with or without your camera. Most of our visitors take away lots of photographs as well as happy memories. We hope you will too.
Grey Craig Cottage
Set on the edge of the farm overlooking our conservation area and loch. A very popular cottage that boasts its own hot tub, patio furniture, garden and picnic area. Fabulous modern cottage to get away from it all. Patio doors from floor to ceiling in the sitting room . – Sleeps 4

Beckhead Cottage
Beckhead cottage snuggled away on a working farm is in a delightful location in the diverse region that is Dumfries and Galloway. Has a lovely patio seating area, two gardens surrounded by trees and the atmospheric Butcherbeck "burn" bubbling by.
Inside, Beckhead has been transformed into a country themed cottage with great character. The two en suite bedrooms spacious and relaxing . The open plan kitchen/dining room with door opening onto garden offers a lovely eating space for all the family. Cosy sitting room with comfy sofas, open fire burning home grown timber is very relaxing after a day out in the countryside. – Sleeps 4
